FLOW servers deliver dual functionality with both file-based and baseband SDI ingest supported. Channels can be configured to handle file-based or live ingest, maximizing operational flexibility and ROI. File-based ingest supports codecs from major camera manufacturers; connect your preferred camera card for automated processing. Each server manages up to 4 channels of file-based ingest, supporting formats from HD to 8K. FLOW delivers a turnkey approach for direct recording into an EFS mediaspace.

Workflow

FLOW Ingest records native NLE-friendly codecs, expediting the post-production process. Supporting leading codecs such as: Apple ProRes, H.264, Avid DNxHD, AVC-Intra, DV/DVCPRO, and XDCAM formats. Unique features include “Edit-While-Capture,” enabling immediate editing, and “Universal Media Files,” compatible across MXF and MOV formats for seamless NLE integration. Codecs are fully supported in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve. FLOW creates lightweight real-time proxies, making it available for users to preview, comment and add rich customisable metadata.

File-Based Ingest

Ingest your file based media, with the most comprehensive format support available, from re-wrap to full transcode. With full control over the bandwidth used by Ingest users, you can be sure that your editors will never notice a drop in performance. With formats like Red R3D, ARRI Raw MXF, SXS and BMRAW along with multiple DSLR cameras, file-based ingest delivers full support for all device metadata during ingest.
