New Ultimate EFS configuration, connected MediaSilo workflows and
multilingual FLOW AI bring storage, discovery and collaboration closer together

Boston, MA, 18 August 2026 – EditShare®, a leader in collaborative media storage and workflow solutions, will unveil new developments across EFS, FLOW AI, MediaSilo and EditShare One at IBC2026, taking place at the RAI Amsterdam from 11 to 14 September 2026 on booth 7.B18.

The announcements include a new all-in-one Ultimate EFS configuration for EFS 310 and EFS 410 with GPU-powered FLOW AI built in, expanded multilingual transcription and further improvements to FLOW AI and EditShare One alongside a preview of the evolution of MediaSilo as a production media hub.

“Production teams are managing media across more storage platforms, locations and collaboration tools than ever,” said Brad Turner, CEO of EditShare. “Our focus is on bringing those workflows closer together without forcing customers into a closed ecosystem. The developments we are introducing at IBC connect high-performance storage, intelligent media discovery and secure collaboration, helping teams find content faster and move projects forward with fewer manual steps.”

Ultimate EFS puts AI-powered media discovery in the box

EditShare will launch new all-in-one Ultimate EFS configurations for EFS 310 and EFS 410 with FLOW media management and GPU-powered FLOW AI processing built into the nodes.

By combining shared storage, media management and AI processing, the new configurations provide a more accessible route to AI-assisted media discovery for teams that do not require the processing scale of a dedicated standalone GPU system.

FLOW AI analyzes audio and video to create structured, searchable metadata. Teams can search dialogue and transcripts, identify scenes and faces, detect logos and read on-screen text, helping them locate useful moments instantly.

Processing takes place on-prem, so content does not need to be sent to a third-party AI service. This gives organizations greater control over security, privacy and data governance. Predictable, unlimited processing pricing also allows customers to analyze as much content as their system can support without per-minute or usage-based AI charges.

FLOW AI will also expand transcription support across 13 languages: English, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish, with Hebrew and Arabic following shortly after.

The expanded language support will help broadcasters, production companies and post-production teams apply AI-assisted search and discovery across a wider range of international content.

FLOW AI also adds enhanced people and logo management, with clearer visual identification of tagged people and logos within the media player timeline.

MediaSilo previews the future of hybrid media workflows

EditShare will also preview how MediaSilo is expanding beyond review and approval into a broader production media hub.  Media Drives, a new connected-storage capability, will allow authorized users to access approved S3-compatible storage directly through MediaSilo, including on-prem EFS storage presented through S3 and supported third-party on-prem and cloud platforms.

Teams will be able to browse folders, search mounted media by filename and preview content where it is stored. They can then copy only the files they need into MediaSilo, rather than transferring everything before they know what is needed.

Once there, MediaSilo AI allows users to search transcripts, on-screen text, people, logos and scenes. The same workspace supports timecoded feedback, version management, dailies, approval tracking and protected external review.

External collaborators can access content through a browser without joining the production network or using a VPN. Forensic and visual watermarking, DRM, expiration controls, permissions and download restrictions help protect unfinished and pre-release media.  User accounts can also be protected with multi-factor authentication (MFA) for an additional layer of access security.

The connected workflow reduces unnecessary transfers and creates a more direct handoff between production storage and secure collaboration.

EditShare One streamlines everyday media operations

EditShare will demonstrate the latest developments in EditShare One, giving users a faster and more intuitive way to access and manage content across EFS and FLOW.

Users can archive and restore complete media spaces or folders directly from EditShare One, making it easier to manage large collections without handling assets individually. The expanded archive workflow also supports integrations with Telestream DIVA Archive and Spectra Logic Rio MediaEngine in addition to the currently supported 3rd party storage capabilities within FLOW.

Further improvements simplify common production tasks. Users can copy and share direct asset links, download original or proxy media, and drag single or multiple media items, subclips, markers, highlights and scenes directly into projects, bins or sequences. Improved metadata editing, column sorting, automatic panel reopening, file-browser controls and timeline zoom make content easier to navigate and manage.

Visitors can explore these latest developments across EFS, FLOW AI, MediaSilo and EditShare One at IBC2026 on booth 7.B18.
